Teach Hard! Ultra Cotton Long Sleeve Tee

Teach Hard! This is an expression which was popularized on the CBC comedy, Mr. D. 

Teachers do teach hard. Their role is a crucially important and very demanding one. Keeping students safe is the most important part of the job, but a teacher must also cover the curriculum, maintain regular contact with caregivers, get to know and understand their students, come up with great lessons, help students who are falling behind or struggling, keep the students who find the curriculum ‘easy’ engaged, deal with classroom conflicts when they arrive, encourage students, give out band-aids and ice, write report cards that are meaningful, organize activities and excursions, and lots of other stuff, too.  

Remember, too, that a school and its students also rely on lots of other people working hard.  Support staff, office administrators, principals, vice-principals, caretaking staff, audiologists, psychologists, social workers, and many more are an important part of what makes schools work.
